Hi, Anita! Yes, this is a central part of Japan. It may not be well-known that more than 70% of our land is mountain. I have never been to any European mountains but do they look similar? Perhaps that is why the place is called Japan Alps. In this trek I used Canon 6D. I like its lightness. Anyway, thanks for your comments.
